In 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing Jacquie and Matthew at the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia.
Surrounded by cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes and lush green forests, we explored the park together, capturing spontaneous moments along its winding wooden pathways.
It wasn’t exactly a quiet afternoon. The park was crowded with visitors, the weather was changing rapidly, and a storm was approaching. But somewhere between the waterfalls, the laughter and the unexpected moments, we managed to create something genuinely beautiful.
Rather than focusing on perfect poses, the idea was simple: let Jacquie and Matthew enjoy their time together while the extraordinary landscape became part of their story.
And sometimes, that’s all a memorable photograph needs.
